AI and Machine Learning in RF and Microwave Systems:
From Signals to Networks
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are reshaping the design, deployment, and
optimization of modern RF systems.
This 40-hour (5-day) course provides a practical introduction to core AI/ML techniques and demonstrates
how they can be applied in the RF, microwave and digital wireless communications industry, with a
strong emphasis on real-world physical-layer use cases.
At the end of the course, participants will gain knowledge of various approaches from the AI/ML world
such as supervised and unsupervised learning, and some important algorithms such as random forests,
Deep Neural Network, Convolutional Neural Networks etc. and gain practical knowledge on how to
apply them to the RF and wireless systems domain.
The course will present a hands-on methodology for using smart prompt engineering (using ChatGPT,
Perplexity, Claude etc.) and how to use it for solving real-life RF challenges problems.
Presenter
Gil Paryanti is a seasoned expert in wireless communications and AI/ML for advanced
communication systems, with more than 20 years of combined industry and academic
